Prospective study to evaluate management of ectopic pregnancy in a tertiary care centre

Background: To study the pattern of management ectopic pregnancy in a referral Centre North India.Methods: This prospective was conducted over period one year department obstetrics and gynecology, tertiary care India. Total number cases who reported to hospital with during were 110. All analyzed managed either conservative, medical or surgical treatment depending on condition at time presentation hospital. Frequencies different variables compared by chi square test using Graphpad Prism 9, p value less than 0.05 considered statistically significant.Results: The incidence pregnancies present 18.62 per 1,000 deliveries. 110 period. Mean age 28.72 years. Out cases, laparotomy performed 100 10 cases. Medical failed case necessitated surgery that case. There no maternal mortality period.Conclusion: Most presented late due lack awareness, topographically tough terrain Himachal limited transport facilities which delayed precludes conservative form surgery. Screening high-risk early diagnosis, intervention reduces morbidity. So awareness primary health level is necessity hour.
